We still have a week to finish the whole 3rd quarter and after December 8 we don’t have classes anymore. It’s a good thing to have a long holidays buy thinking what I will do after the 8th make me think that I need to spend the rest of the Xmas season outside the city. My plan schedule after the classes end.

December
9 proctoring for Pisay 2nd Screening

10 PHP and MySQL class in UP-ITTC

11 Apo Hiking Society Concert in Music Museum

13-14 Our unit party in Bolinao, Pangasinan

15 Christmas party for Pisay Main Campus

16-17 Will stay the whole weekend in Angeles City

18-21 Either in PSHS BRC campus(Bicol) or EVC campus(Iloilo) for the E-based project.of the PSHS system

22 Back in Angeles City

23-26 Christmas in Baguio

27 In Tarlac(thanksgiving party of my cousin for passing the Board exam) or

27-? I'll go straight to Sagada

I've never been to Sagada unlike my kuya who have stayed there for almost a year during his college days for his thesis. I think that I really need to 'reformat' myself for the next year. Yesterday, I saw company advertisement for a group tour in Sagada on the 27th to the 30th wherein a guided tour and other activities are provided by the organization. I’m still thinking if I will share the experience with strangers (to meet other people as well) or conquer the mountains alone.

I was absent at work yesterday. My colleagues have asked me why and I just realized that I really don’t have the reason why I am absent yesterday. Last Sunday, after my class in UP-ITTC, I went back to my place and just decided to go home and had left some machine problems for the next day class. I just want to go home. Maybe I miss my family or I just need to relax a bit. Even a friend told me that I looked stressed-out compared to the last time he saw me in Angeles. I can’t even finish the half rice I ordered today. I haven’t had my breakfast and I just ate ‘fake’ food (fast-food) last night. Hope I will be okay in the next few days since our unit will go on vacation on Dec 13-14 in Bolinao. I don’t want to spend the whole Christmas break in our house. My kuya just decided that we will stay in Baguio on the 23rd to 25th. I know that we all miss my mom. This is the first time that were celebrating the holidays without her. I’m planning to go straight to Sagada after the 25th.
Gusto ko ng matapos ang holiday season.

Got the a new CD last night in Greebelt Music One. Im stressed out the whole day yesterday even its the first day of work week. I dont know why Im into music right now but what Im assured of is that music relaxes me mentally. Someone is keep texting me for the past few days but when I'm trying to call the number no one answers the phone. Ang dami talagang walang magawa sa buhay. Im too busy para makiapaglokohan sa text. I have a lot of priorities in life and I don't have time anymore with other things. Some of my college friends are even asking me how can I budget my time with my masteral class, trainings, violin classes, my work and other administrative work in school in a week. I hope I will find time to relax or to have a vacation next month and not thinking my work and studies for at least 2 to 3 weeks.
About the CD
Classics In The CityCall this a contemporary 2 CD collection featuring 38 numbers of modern classics. There’s smooth jazz Fourplay’s ‘Rozil’ but apart from that, it’s mainly pop, instrumental, classical & opera orchestral numbers here.Expect to hear hunky foursome Il Divo, world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, singer Charlotte Church, violinist Vanessa Mae, Yanni, crooner Jim Brickman, boy-group Westlife and even the new-age sage Kitaro. The CDs will probably end up in your parents’ or girlfriend’s car.At last, something to convince the non-jazz friends and relatives that you are perfectly normal. But we already know that, don’t we? - Eugene,http://alldatjazz.com/item/920

Im very sure that the whole country is now in high spirit since our so called "Pambansang Kamao" won the final rematch against Morales of Mexico. Too bad, I didnt watched the fight since I have my PHP class today in UP. Checking the Internet is the best way to get some updates regarding the fight. It really feels good when a kababayan is winning/achieving something. For the past weeks, news about pinoys around the world who are succeeding in different fields are being featured in TV and in the newspaper. Like the success of Monique Lhuillier(US Top Fashion Designer), Tina Ocampo(designer of Celestina Maynila bags that are bfeautured in Vogue Mag), Alcano(the current World Pool Champion), Batista(famous wrestler)and others. But the bad thing that we must expect tomorrow is the opportunity for the politicians to ride with the success of Pacquiao for their political plans next year. These politicos are really the problem of this country but I still hope that it will be a happy christmas season for all of us.

I did watched the Basil Valdez, Ryan Cayabyab and the San Miguel Philharmonic Orchestra show last night in Shang. It was the first time I heard Basil Valdez performing live with an orchestra and it was really great. The show is to promote the upcoming album of the "real Philippine Idol", according to Cayabyab. After the show, I went straight to Powerbooks to look for a book and proceeded to Music One to buy the original CD of Isha. Its time for me to buy the original one since I did enjoy listening to the album.

Woke up early today to think of an activity I will asked my students to do. As I'm preparing for work, I saw the UP Form5 and I realized that I haven't paid yet my tuition fee. :-) Need to rushed in UP today since tomorrow will be the last day of registration(tumatanda na ako, makakalimutin na)

Now I know how does a call center agent feels when a lot of callers is asking the same question again and again. Today is the start of encoding of grades in the Electronic Database System in school. As a member of the Implementation Committee of the Ebased project, one of my responsibilities is to answer all the queries from the faculty about encoding, viewing and posting of grades and other ratings in the system. Got a lot of different calls..(From complaints, questions, asking my help calls). Now I know how stressful it is answering phone calls from other people.

Bayantel really sucks for the past months. We always have a problem about our Internet Connection almost every week.

A great weekend for me.
1. Bought 2 pirated DVD’s in Angeles (Michael Buble and Santana Supernatural Live Concert)
2 Purchased 2 original CD’s (Mishka Adams first album and a classical music compilation CD) in Music One. (To lessen the sin of buying pirated one..Heheh.)
3. Went to Duty Free Shops in Clark (Thanks to the 49.80=1$ exchange rate.)
4. Watched local TV shows (it’s been a long time)
5. Practice the violin.
6. Attended the PHP and MySQL training in UP-ITTC.
7. Ate a lot. (as in real food, not dorm food or from fastfood).

Mishka Adams- Her first album “God Bless the Child“is one of the great jazz album I have so far. Her version of Billie Holiday’s God Bless the Child and her original compositions “Mama’s Garden and “War of the Skies” are just few among my favorites.

Carlos Santana- even during my high school days, Santana is one of my favorite artist/guitarist because of his excellent guitar playing. What is good about Santana is that he knows how to reinvent himself and catch up with the evolving music that we have. His signature sound is one of the distinct qualities he has why a lot of people love his music.

Michael Buble- Just heard 3 of his performance in the DVD I bough last week but I don’t really like the style and voice quality he have. At first, some of his pieces are really good but it bores me at the middle till end of the song.

Beethoven Classical Compilation- Just bought this because the CD is on sale and besides classical music is classical music.:-) I have no right to tell if its good or not..ehehe

Last night, it was the first time I saw my mom in a dream since she died last January. I don’t know what it means but I am sure that my mom is checking me out if I’m now ok living alone in the metro. Or maybe, I’m just too stressed out this month and I need to relax before the semester starts.

Decided to stop having my violin classes starting this week. I have job Monday thru Friday, Masteral classes on Saturdays and PHP trainings on Sundays. Also, bought a Violin book last week in Powerbooks to self learn the violin. Im planning to move to another teacher since my current teacher is transferring to SM Centerpoint in Sta Mesa and it would be a big hassle for me if I will go to Sta Mesa every week. Hope to find a new teacher either in UP area or QC.

A lot of work to do this weekend. Really want to go home in Angeles but my class will start on saturday and I have my training on sunday in UP. Went to UP yesterday to enroll and as usual, the lines for the assessment of fees and missing advisers and profs, are still the problem during enrollment.

I supposed to enroll yesterday afternoon in UP. Unfortunately, I did'nt finished the process since my status last sem is AWOL(absence without leave) and the allotted schedule for us is on the last day of enrollment. Since its too early to go back in my place, I decided to go to Ayala Center for my monthly magazine reading in Powerbooks Greenbelt. I read around 5-6 magazines andthen proceeded to Music One Record Store also in Greenbelt. I saw a copy of Pachelbel's Canon (Classical Music) and spend a long time deciding if I'll buy it or not since it cost too much(420 pesos). That cost is around 10-12 pirated CD's in bangketas and I need to save money since I'm paying for my tuition this semester.(Besides going back to my Master's program I also have my PHP and MySQL training in UP-ITTC every sunday). At the end, I decided to purchase it since I will never find Pachelbel's song in pirated copies. Pachelbel's Canon is one of my inspiration why I decided to learn the violin. It was the classical piece performed by Andy and Raphael(Pisay Students)during the Humanities week. Canon really relaxes me and this is the song I usually play when i surf the youtube.com. I wish that in the coming years(?) I myself can play the canon in my violin.:-)

Its been a great weekend.
Last Friday, together with the other colleagues and the Batch 2008 students went to Laguna area for the Outbound Education Program of Batch 2008. We went to UPLB area for our first stop. We went to the Makiling Botanical Garden and hiked the Philippine Raptors Center. Unfortunately, the Raptors Center was closed so the facilitators of Lakbay Kalikasan provided some team-building challenges for the students. What is different with this so called Outbound Education from the typical Field Trip is that the students learn a lot of things from the professional facilitators and it is easy for us teachers because the staff and the facilitators of Lakbay Kalikasan are the one who explains, teaches and entertains the students throughout the whole trip. Thanks to Bien (certified facilitator) and Yvan (trainee and also a certified nurse) for making the whole trip educational and enjoyable.

Our next stop is the Bayan Pueblo of Pila Laguna. We went there for our lunch. We ate in a small café. The food is really great even though there is still no electricity in that area because of the typhoon. We can compare the place to Vigan in Ilocos. The “red” Municipal Hall is really cool. It is a typical Spanish structure and until now, they use it as the seat of government. Pila, “Bayan ng pinagpala” as the townfolks labeled their place. According to them, the Japanese didn’t bombed their place because they can’t see anything from above because the whole town is covered with clouds. The town is a site of well preserved Spanish houses that are still well-maintained by private individual. It is a typical pueblo wherein church and the municipal hall are facing each other between a square shape plaza. The town museum is also impressive. Old newspaper, artifacts and artworks are housed inside the museum.

After lunch, we proceeded to Brgy. Taytay and wento to Majayjay Falls by transferring to a jeepney. It’s the first time I rode at the top of the jeepney (as shown in the pic) and the experience is really great (Fresh air+great sight=really relaxing). What is distinct with Majayjay Falls is that the water from the falls is really cold. According to some, it’s around 4 to 10 degree Celsius. It was a tiring and great day for us. I promise myself that I will be back in that place again before the end of the year.

My application for readmission in U.P. is finally approved by the college secretary. Good luck for me in the coming semester.
