It was a great year for me. I am grateful that I travelled to different places; I've been practically healthy the whole year; and enjoyed my work and Grad School at the same time. I am looking forward for next year and I hope I can accomplish all those targets that I have set in my mind. Promise myself to give some extra effort and be more responsible with all my actions. Love to take bigger risks and enjoy life.

Been to Dagupan last Friday and Saturday to attend the wake of Ms. Gene's mom who died of Cancer last Dec 23. I didn't expected that it will take us at least 7 hours bus ride. That's the reason why we decided to spend overnight in Dagupan instead of going back home again since the last bus trip, according to the locals, is 6:00 pm. I was asked to do the video presentation for the necrological services and I agreed to help them to lessen the burden to Maam Gene since I understand how it feels to miss a mom. The problem is that the laptop they're using doesnt have a memory card reader so we decided to go the an Internet Shop in the city proper. It was 12 midnight when we finished transfering files in the MMC card to the USB drives and decided to have a quick "gimik night"in Padi's Point in Dagupan CSI Mall. What's funny is that the bar is inside the mall and it closes early compared to the bars in Manila.

The Philippine Madrigal Singers' Concert lastDecember 18 was so great that I'm actually planning to watch another concert soon. I was 30 minutes late in the CCP's Gala event and was only allowed to go to my assigned seat during the 10 minute break. So practically, I missed the half of the show.

"Ang dami tao sa Lantern Parade this year". Yun ang lagi nababaggit sa mga ibat-ibang forums and chatrooms after the annual UP Lantern Parade last Dec 19. Definitely, the different lanterns from the Fine Arts are the best this year. The event was ended with a gand fireworks display and a concert from independent musicians around the campus. Again, U. P. Rocks!

"Definitely I will be in Angeles every week now. Dami ko palang na miss dito . Sa lawak ng aking tinatanaw minsan nandito lang pala ang aking hinahanap. "

Just arrived from Makati to accomplish some personal errands before I go on vacation on Thursday for my Batanes trip. As I enter my room, I notice how clean and empty our room was and I just realized that my roommate Daiki had went home already to Japan yesterday. Saw a letter from him and I’m quite happy how he learned our language for just a short period of time. I would like to share the letter:
Hi Jayson
Thank you for your Christmas gift but wala akong inihahanda para sa iyo…Soarry hah. Kaya nga balak kong ipadala ang something to you galing Japan. Thank you for all your kindness kahit konti lang natin pinagusapan. Maraming salamat. Mag ingat ka lagi!!. God Bless You.
P.S. Sige!
*2 Towel(kakalaba lang)
*Bed Sheet(madumi pa)
*OFF Lotion (konti lang hahah)
*{Japanese Characters} ßI don’t know how to spell in English—para mabango ang damit)
*Headphones
*Index cards(para sa klase)
*Yellow paper(marami pa)
*Cotton
*at marami pa iba
To Kuya Pedro: Hi kuya. Nasa bakasyon sya. Salamat poh.
From Daiki Yamamoto
The letter is quite funny and cute. He practically left all the things that he don’t need in Japan....From dishwashing liquid to bed sheets; From headphones to a lot of ballpens. I’m thankful that Daiki is such a nice person and we had no problem with each other for that 5 months. He is like a pinoy guy who value the virtue of 'pakikisama'. Even though we didn’t talk as much from the almost 5 months of being roommates, I hope we’ll meet each other again. I will miss his Aegis and Andrew E songs. And will remember how he was so addicted to that Angel Locsin movie flick. Lastly, the sharing of food. I wish him the very best on his studies in Tokyo University. I’m lookin forward to a new roommate.
