Just got home from a short vacation in Baguio with my brothers and dad. I didn’t enjoy that much because of the different hassles we encountered: Traffic, fully booked hotels and inns, long lines in bus stations, and unreliable bus schedules and the bus itself. I can’t imagine how this small city can accommodate approximately four hundred thousand people for holidays according to news reports.

Today is the last day of 2008 and really thankful for the good and not-so-good things slash happenings this year. From a heartbreak early this year, I had met my guardian angel on the early part of the year. Really wish that we can stay together for the longest time despite of misunderstandings and small problems. It’s been 10 months and I’m looking forward to spend my life again for the next year and the other year and the next year and so on.

Also, some of the place I visited this year includes Camiguin, Cagayan De Oro, Iligan, Bukidnon, Pundaquit, Baguio, Sagada, an Aeta Village in Zambales, Puerto Galera and other surrounding provinces of Metro Manila. Camiguin is one of my ultimate target this year after visiting Batanes last year. I’m looking forward for Zamboanga, Bohol or Davao next year.

Instead of a new laptop, I got a small desktop system and a Chanel perfume from Kuya as holiday gifts. But I still want the netbook Lenovo PC. Still asking him to bring the netbook the next time he will come home this March.

I read the Inquirer this week and on the front page are some of my students in competition in South Korea. I’m really proud of these kids and I can proudly say that “I teach Philippines’s best”

To all, Happy New Year!
