It’s been exactly a month since my last post. Decided not to post something since some of my students are teasing me when they discovered the other side of their “not-so-friendly” teacher. They are very curious about some characters from my old poems (that Maria Clara..ehhe); How ‘emo’ am I sometimes; and they are surprise when they read about the type of music I want. SO the following are some of the most important events for the past month.

Acquired some new gadgets. Got an Apple iPhone as a replacement for my old Nokia 6020 and a Samsung digital camera while waiting for my Pentax Dlsr from Singapore to come.

Some of the things I like with my new phone are the stylish screen, flawless running of Applications, iPod and Phone combined, touch interface works well and the email and web browsing are very simple. While some cons are the following: lack of text forwarding feature (since most of us here in the Philippines use the SMS messaging), Poor camera specs (so I really need a nice camera) and no video recording.
I am really excited to have my own Dslr. Want to try photography this summer since I have a 2-month break. Want to use this time to learn the skill and spend the summer in a productive way. Its too bad that my officemate and his husband's application for PhD in Edinburgh were approved so definitely she will be on leave for the coming school year. Supposedly, they are planning that they will teach me the basics of photography when my camera arrives.
