At last, the Internet connection is back and it’s been 5 days since I last accessed my email, blog and all the online stuff I usually check everyday.

Last Tuesday, I went to U.P. Film Institute for the Eiga Sai Japanese Film Festival. I arrived there around 5:30 pm and luckily, I didn’t failed to watch the second movie even though it was originally scheduled at 5pm. The movie is entitled Dora Heita”. The movie is about Koheita, a Samurai sent to clean up a corrupt, crime ridden town. But the problem is that he himself has a reputation for being lax and corrupt. Latterly, Koheita lure the bad guys by doing some funny and tricky things and eliminate them all in the end. It’s a simple movie wherein you can really be of interests with Japanese way of life.

Another movie was entitled Bright Future directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa (really good director from Japan). The movie is about the real friendship of two young street teenagers in Tokyo. Their bond is based on uncotrollable rage and the strange jellyfish that they keep as a pet. The central theme of the movie is that anyone can changed even how bad you are before. Also, the movie also tackles scientifically since the story focuses with the jellyfish(how a jellyfish can survive and reproduce in fresh water and how dangerous they can be)
